WOW it was a busy weekend. First Friday and then an anniversary cake due on Saturday. Yikes.

 

Technical details of the cake:

Cupcake tower is a WHOLE bunch of metal (my hands may never recover). It was back lit with tiny LED lights and on the top was fiber optic lighting as well as a moving laser that projected cool patterns on the cake, walls, and ceiling.

Yummy cake details:

Bottom 2 layers were chocolate with rasberry filling.

Top 2 were red velvet filled with cream cheese.

The logo as well as the “21″ were gum paste.  So again, everything but the cupcake tower is edible!

I had several calls on Saturday from folks who couldn’t find me on Friday. They have opened up McKinley (one block South of Garfield) to vendors as well. This month I was down there. If you don’t find me on Garfield, look for me on McKinley.  No plans on missing a First Friday, so I will be there!

Look for the big red tent!
